Bharti AXA Short Term Income Fund is an open-ended income scheme which seeks to generate income and capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of debt and money market securities.

Bharti AXA Short Term Income Fund - Current Investment Strategy
- Bharti AXA Short Term Income Fund will follow an accrual strategy while maintaining an average maturity of 8-9 months in order to deliver superior riskadjusted performance.
- This strategy involves selection of papers of varying maturities, based on the fund managers outlook, in order to maximize the portfolio yield for a given time period. For example, the fund manager wants to invest for a one year tenor.
There are three options:
The option selected would be the one that in the fund manager's outlook would maximize the portfolio yield over 1 yeara) Buy a one year paper b) Buy a three month paper, and after three months, buy a nine month paper c) Buy a six month paper and after six months invest in a six months paper - A ladder approach to portfolio construction will help the fund in capturing higher re-investment yields, on maturity of assets.
- Bharti AXA Short Term Income Fund will invest predominantly in CDs and CPs of a high credit quality
- Bharti AXA Short Term Income Fund has an exit load of 0.50% if redeemed within 30 days from date of allotment

Bharti AXA Short Term Income Fund has always maintained a portfolio of high credit quality. Ever since inception of the fund, 100% of the portfolio has been invested in P1+ & equivalent, Sovereign securities and Cash & equivalent.
