Senior Management Team

Sandeep is an Electronics Engineer and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has over 22 years of work experience in financial services industry. Sandeep started his career in Investment Banking in the year 1987 and then moved to Asset Management industry heading the Sales & Marketing portfolio of Alliance Capital Asset Management. As the CEO of Deutsche Asset Management in India, he set up the entire operations and built a successful business before moving to Bharti AXA Investment Managers as the CEO in December 2006.

Vikaas, a post graduate in Management, has over 13 years of experience in Marketing as well as Sales, and Distribution. Beginning with merchant and investment banking, he then moved on to Asset Management at Birla Sun Life AMC. He was instrumental in increasing the penetration of the fund through direct sales as well as institutional intermediaries across the country before moving on to ING Investment Management as Country Head - Business Development. At Bharti AXA IM Vikaas is the Country Head - Business Development, responsible for Sales, Business Development and Products.

Simon holds a Masters in Law and Business from the University of Paris XI / HEC business school in France.
Simon has 10 years experience in capital markets and asset management. Simon started his career with international law firm Baker & McKenzie before moving to BNP Paribas Securities Services’ custody and clearing business in France. Simon joined AXA Investment Managers Paris in 2003 working with the firm’s structured and alternative products division. As Chief Operating Officer, Simon is responsible for Bharti AXA Investment Managers’ Operations, Risk, Finance, Information Technology, and Administration functions.

Prateek has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. He has gathered over 14 years of experience in investments beginning with SBI Capital. From there he moved on to ABN AMRO Asset Management Center. Prateek was the youngest ever in the industry to be given charge of a full fledged research team at SBI Capital. Prateek heads the equity desk at Bharti AXA Investment Managers, the same position he last held at ABN AMRO AMC, and is responsible for the entire equity portfolio including research.

An Economics graduate and a PGDBA from the Hindu Institute of Management, Sujoy has gathered rich experience in the financial services industry in a career spanning over 13 years. Sujoy started his career with Bank of Punjab in the treasury department where he worked for 4 years. He moved to DSP Merrill Lynch AMC in 2000 and worked with them for 7 years in the fixed income fund management team. Sujoy moved to Bharti AXA Investment Managers in 2007 as Head of Fixed Income and takes care of the Fixed Income Portfolios.

Manish, a Bachelor in Law, has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has rich experience in compliance having been with SBI Life Insurance and then with ICICI Prudential Life. As a Company Secretary and Head - Compliance and Legal at Bharti AXA IM, Manish is responsible for compliance and legal activities for the asset management entity.

Nanda is a PGDEM from IMT, Ghaziabad and a Physics graduate. A marketing and communications professional with over 12 years' experience, Nanda started his career in sales and then moved on to Advertising where he spent more than 6 years in agencies like Lintas and Contract. He has worked on varied brands in different categories ranging from consumer durables to technology. Having spent more than 2 years in the Asset Management industry with Sundaram BNP Paribas AMC, Nanda heads Marketing and manages branding and communications initiatives for Bharti AXA IM.
